16 clubs given JPT byes

Bury, Chester, Carlisle, Lincoln, Rotherham, Rochdale, Huddersfield and Darlington go straight into the second round of the northern section.

Cheltenham, Gillingham, Walsall, Luton, Hereford, Peterborough, Wycombe and holders MK Dons will skip the first stage in the southern section.

United will be in the draw for the first round, which will take place next Saturday morning.

The games will be played in the first week of September.
