Not a bad little ground, though I think they should give away fans the empty terrace behind the goal.
How many Iron fans were there, and what was the atmosphere like?
About 600 I'd say. Was a good atmosphere before it got ruined at the end as some fans tried storming the home end. On general was some good banter flying about.
What exactly happened at the end?

Do you think the peno should have been retaken, and how good was Russell's save?
I don't think it should have been retaken and the rule should be scrapped - nine times out of ten the keeper's momentum takes him forward as he pushes off to dive, it is near impossible to drop straight to the side. Was a good stop, and gathered the loose ball too.
Did Kell deserve to be red carded?
Yeah. The guy went through Kell and we should have had a free-kick, how the ref didn't give it I'll never know. But Kell's reaction was stupid, and no-one can have any complaints about it.
How did we cope when we were down to ten men?
We defended well and never really looked like conceding, never looked like scoring mind you. We should have taken a point.
Should we have done better for their opening goal then?
Sharp gave it away cheapleand Featherstone should have put more effort in to tracking back rather than having a Sunday stroll back towards his own goal. Russell should have done better on it, I think it went under his arms. If the pitch was dry he would have stopped it, the way the ball speeded up off the damp grass beat him not the shot.
Finally confident going into Saturday's game?
Always confident against Lincoln, they can't even grasp the basic skills like a pass so why shouldn't we be?
