After victories over Notts Co Supporters side, Yorkie Bars and the Dam NetBusters the Filings were high in confidence going into the match albeit limited in terms of choice with only eleven players making the trip due to pullouts.
Regulars from the previous three games including the Parkinson brothers, Barny Summerfield, Daz Eaton, Stu Conroy and Luke Thornhill were all missing whilst Rob Needham was unable to make his first appearance of the season.
Manager Mark Bodie switched to a 3-5-2 formation, playing to the Filings famed strength in midfield.
The Filings opened the scoring 20 minutes in, when a corner ball was played back into the box for Matty Brewer to finish for his first strike of the season playing as right wing back.
The lead wasn't to last for long though, a ball over the top allowed an Uncovered striker Stu Hardy to run onto goalie Paul Johnson to level the scores.
Once again though the score was to change, as Brewer's low cross was turned into his own net by Darlo's centre back Chris Johnson.
The Filings should have extended their lead further throughout the second half, but they did get on the scoresheet once again as Hodge Senior chipped the goalkeeper five minute's from time.
